LIGHT THE NIGHT

Hi! I hope everyone had a great Christmas Holiday spent with Family and Friends! Daniel and I enjoyed our time hosting two festive parties this year. We had both of our families over for a Christmas eve party and then we also hosted our own "Friends Cocktail Party"! We had a blast!! Some amazing different themed cocktails were made and tasty holiday appetizers were ate. We all dressed up super fancy and posed in front of our real Christmas tree for some pics! This was my very first year having a real tree in the house and I actually really liked it! Something about the smell and size of this tree made the house so warm in this cold weather we are having here. It could be a tad bit messy at times, especially if you have carpet. We have flooring, so it made for an easier clean. I did not realize how many tree farms are in Arkansas! We enjoyed going and searching for the perfect tree. I am considering doing another one next year!

We had some super fun moments with our friends that night! I had a few games planned, one of them being a guessing game of how many ornaments we had on the tree. Another one was our Christmas ornament exchange, which was a hit! We all had brought our own ornaments to the party, sat in a circle around the living room and passed them either right or left with the Christmas music being played. This game for sure kept everyone laughing because of some funny ornaments people brought to the exchange! We danced to music, enjoyed the back patio with the fire pit and played the t.v. Jackbox games!

I love this time of year and I really loved hosting these parties! I can't wait to do it again next year! Did you host any Christmas parties this year? I would like to hear all about them so I can get ideas for next year! New Years is also coming up this week! Anybody have any cool traditions or resolutions planned? 2020 is gonna be great!!
